Chile is one of South America's most geographically and culturally diverse countries, and it also has some of the most incredible whitewater rivers in the world. With the Andes marking the eastern border of Chile, there is a consistent drainage of rainfall and snowmelt, providing excellent whitewater throughout most of the country. This trip is designed to offer paddlers an immersed and flexible journey through Chile, as we'll take the time to soak in some culture and scenery along with the magical rivers. From big water play and incredible wave trains to fun lower volume runs through lush green forests to pristine canyons with friendly waterfalls and crystal blue waters, the Chilean River Experience is one you will never forget!

Our trip begins in Santiago, a bustling metropolitan centre of over 7 million people (1/3 of the country's population). We will gather informally the evening before leaving, to get acquainted over a patio dinner and night on the town. Early the next morning, the journey begins and we spend the next 8 days making our way south, paddling a new river every day; The Rio Teno (class 3/3+), the Rio Claro (class 3+), the Siete Tasas (7 Tea-Cups, a series of class 3+/4 waterfalls in a pristine canyon), the Rio Nuble (class 3-4), the Rio Trancura (class 3 - 4), the Rio Palguin (class 3 - 4+), the Rio Liucura (class 3) and the Rio San Pedro (class 3+, big wave trains and one of the best play holes in the world!). We will enjoy a variety of meals and accommodations, from camping and BBQ's to fine Chilean dining and comfortable cabanas. With the assistance of a professional Chilean guide and driver combined with our world-class instructors, expect the best from your Chilean River Experience!
